Amcom’s investment in the community is driven by the belief that we have both a responsibility and the opportunity to assist in local communities where our people and customers live and work.

In 2009, Amcom formed a partnership with the Children’s Hospital Foundations Australia (CHFA) to support and raise much needed funds for sick and injured kids.

CHFA is made up of five leading Foundations working together in partnership on national initiatives:
  • Women’s & Children’s Hospital Foundation SA
  • Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation VIC
  • Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation QLD
  • Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation NSW
  • Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation WA

These hospitals treat or admit over 1,000,000 children each year. The foundations are the fundraising bodies directly attached to each of the children’s hospitals.

Amcom’s partnership with CHFA contributes to funding for clinical research and raises funds for equipment and services that otherwise would not exist.  Amcom and its staff support CHFA through a variety of programmes, including:

Workplace Giving where Amcom staff donate a portion of their salary and Amcom matches employee donations
Fundraising Events where Amcom organises numerous events for staff to raise funds for CHFA. We also actively participate in CHFA organised events.
Volunteering where staff in all our offices contribute through regular volunteer opportunities with their local CHFA hospital.
